Drawing Inspiration Awards 2011

Our Fantastic Creatures Big Draw Colchester 2011 team received great positive feedback from the DIA team following our application for a Drawing Inspiration Award - although unfortunately we were not awarded an award this year.

"The Drawing Inspiration Awards always attract strong applications, as was the case again in 2011, reflecting the growing ambition of Big Draw organisers across the UK, and in an increasing number of other countries.

As a result, the jury's job was particularly tough and the selection process involved lengthy debate. We considered a long list of events – many of them worthy and deserving praise. This included your entry, which I am sorry to report did not win a 2011 Award.

Thank you for the enthusiasm and commitment evident in your submission. We depend on you to keep up the good work, and hope that you will join us again for the 2012 Big Draw."

Next time...:-)
