Guest artists and creatives

We have a fabulous group of creatives running activities - follow the links to find out more about their work....

The event is organised by book artist and illustrator Mary Pullen.
Our hostess with the mostess is Katie Kennedy.
We have an invaluable link with 15 Queen Street who is Alex Davis.
The event's guest storyteller is Olivia Armstrong.
Locally based, guest artists and illustrators (in ABC order!) are Lauren Baker,  Russell Clement, Michele English, Emily Garland, Lizzie Kevan and Rob Lock.
The event will be documented in fabulous photographic style by Jonathan Doyle.
A super themed playlist has been devised by Adam Deacon.
A thousand thanks go to all these creatives!

Fantastic Creatures Big Draw Colchester 2011

Mary Pullen has devised a fantastical event for the Big Draw initiative to be held at 15 Queen Street, Colchester on Wednesday the 19th October 2011.

With great guest illustrators, creatives, and a storyteller it will be a night of creative activity and entertainment.

The theme this year is Fantastic Creatures. You are invited come along and rediscover lost or forgotten talents or try new making techniques and have some fun!

You will be welcomed by our hostess and inspired by guest artists and creatives. Listen to the strange tales of East Anglian folklore and strange creatures related by our storyteller; create imaginative drawings and miniscule illustrations; draw on the walls; make models; enter our themed playlist competition; try your luck at the raffle to win one of the generously donated, unique original artworks donated by our guest artists.

Refreshments will be available from our bar including themed cocktails.
